Ezra Collective - Here Because of Hope Tour

Ezra Collective perform their Here Because of Hope Tour in San Francisco at Bimbo's 365 Club. The British jazz band blends several genres that reach beyond jazz.

Ezra Collective is a British jazz quintet led by drummer Femi Koleoso. Their music blends afrobeat, calypso, reggae, hip-hop, soul and jazz. Their first album, You Can't Steal My Joy, was released in 2019, and it introduced the group's mix of these styles to a wider audience.

This tour, titled Here Because of Hope, brings the band to San Francisco. The music moves between jazz playing and the rhythms of afrobeat and calypso, with reggae, soul and hip-hop influences running through it.

Bimbo's 365 Club hosts concerts and shows in San Francisco. The evening suits listeners who follow contemporary jazz and its connections to soul, hip-hop and Afro-Caribbean music, as well as those already familiar with Ezra Collective's recordings.
