Overview
Too Many Zooz is an American trio formed in New York in 2014, performing at Brooklyn Bowl in Brooklyn. The concert also features Thundersmack.
Too Many Zooz are a trio formed in New York in 2014, made up of baritone saxophone, trumpet and percussion. Their first album, Subway Gawdz, was released in 2016. Built around brass and drums rather than guitars, their music draws on pop, rock and indie sensibilities and is rooted in the New York scene that shaped the band.
The group is one of the more unusual line-ups in the genre, with the saxophone and trumpet carrying the melodies and the percussion driving the rhythm. Thundersmack is also on the bill.
Brooklyn Bowl is a music venue in Brooklyn that hosts concerts and shows, and this evening suits listeners interested in brass-led indie rock in a local setting.
