Vic Mensa

Vic Mensa is an American rapper working in hip-hop and punk rap. Born in Chicago in 1993, the artist has been active since 2009 and is signed to Universal Music Group. The debut album, The Autobiography, was released in 2017.

The music draws on two traditions at once: hip-hop, the rap tradition, and punk rap, which brings the attitude of punk into rap delivery. Listeners who follow either strand will find common ground in this act's catalog, which is built on the same rap foundation across both styles.

Garcia's Chicago hosts concerts and shows in Chicago, so this performance takes place in the city where the artist was born. The night suits anyone interested in rap with a punk edge who wants to hear the work in the city it comes from.
