Overview
Wicked is a musical staged at the Gershwin Theatre in New York, presented as part of the city's theater season. It is a stage show in the musical genre.
Wicked is a stage musical, and the production is listed here under its title alone. It is presented at the Gershwin Theatre, a Broadway house in New York that hosts concerts and shows throughout the year. The venue is a theater, so the evening follows the structure of a staged musical rather than a concert.
The show is aimed at audiences who want a full theatrical evening with a sung score, sets and performed scenes. It suits visitors to New York looking for a musical on Broadway, as well as theatergoers planning a return visit. Those booking can choose a seat according to the view they prefer from the Gershwin's auditorium.
