Dick Whittington and His Cat - Adult

An adults-only comedy panto at the King's Head Theatre, retelling the story of Dick Whittington and his cat with grown-up humour and audience participation.

Dick Whittington sets off for London hoping for fame and fortune, accompanied by his cat. The story of the classic pantomime is reworked here as an adults-only comedy: rats are running riot and the Rat King is causing chaos in the city, which proves rather different from what Dick expected.

The production is billed as a grown-up version of the traditional panto, with saucy humour and audience participation built into the staging. The source material names River Medway and Victoria Scone, both known from RuPaul's Drag Race UK, as stars of the show, with a special guest from musical theatre and drag also taking part. The cast list is given on the page, so the names above are the only performers this text can confirm.

The show is staged at the King's Head Theatre, a London venue that hosts concerts and shows. It is aimed at adult audiences only, so it suits those looking for a panto with adult content rather than a family outing.
