Gary Delaney: Gary On Laughing

Gary On Laughing is a new stand-up show by Gary Delaney, an English writer and comedian. It brings a fresh set of jokes to Liverpool after a long run of earlier touring in the UK.

This is a stand-up comedy show built around entirely new material, following a long tour of the UK by the same performer. Reviewers have praised the density of the puns and the one-liners, describing Gary Delaney as a master craftsman of the form. The jokes are the focus throughout, with no other performers named for this production.

In the auditorium, Gary Delaney performs alone, speaking directly to the audience and moving from one joke to the next. The humour is deliberately adult and includes a good deal of crude content, so the show is aimed at grown-up audiences rather than families. Anyone who prefers gentler comedy should take that into account before booking.

The show is staged at the Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool, a venue that hosts concerts and shows throughout the year. It will suit people who enjoy fast, wordplay-led stand-up delivered by a comic with a long touring record.
