Zog and the Flying Doctors

A family theatre show based on Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler's bestselling book Zog, following a young dragon-in-training's flying doctors on a rescue mission. It is staged at Cadogan Hall in London.

Zog and the Flying Doctors is a family show adapted from the picture book Zog by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Zog, Princess Pearl and Sir Gadabout set off on a flying mission to help animals and creatures of all sizes, from a unicorn with too many horns to a lion with a cold and a sunburnt mermaid. The story turns to a personal challenge when the King falls ill and Princess Pearl must show that princesses can be doctors too.

The production combines colourful characters, songs and comedy with an emphasis on high-flying adventure. The material presents it as a follow-up in a series from the same producers as Zog and Stick Man, and describes it as suited to young theatre-goers and the adults who accompany them.

The show is presented at Cadogan Hall, which hosts concerts and shows in London. It is a good fit for families who know the books and for younger children discovering the story on stage.
