Corso di Pizza e Gelato a Roma con Vini di Cooking Italy

Learn how to prepare traditional pizza and gelato with a practical session guided by a local chef in the heart of Rome.

This activity consists of a hands-on workshop dedicated to Roman cuisine, hosted in the spaces of Cooking Italy. During the session, you will roll up your sleeves to make the dough from scratch, following the chef's instructions and using local ingredients. Among the traditional techniques, you will also learn mozzatura, an ancient procedure for cutting the dough, before moving on to baking in the wood-fired oven in the Prati district. The programme also includes the preparation of gelato and the tasting of the dishes accompanied by wine and soft drinks.

The proposal is suited for those wishing to learn the secrets of local gastronomy first-hand, receiving a work apron at the beginning. The activities take place indoors, at the indicated venue, combining the manual skills of the course with the convivial sharing of the dishes prepared.
