An Evening w/ Christina Perri Celebrating 15 Years of A Thousand Years

An evening with singer-songwriter Christina Perri at the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, marking 15 years since the release of "A Thousand Years." The concert draws on a pop, rock and indie catalog.

Christina Perri is a singer-songwriter whose music spans pop, rock and indie. The breakthrough single "Jar of Hearts" was followed by "A Thousand Years," released in 2011 and featured on the soundtrack of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1. It is the best-known song in the catalog and the focus of this anniversary evening.

The debut album, lovestrong., came out in 2011, and Head or Heart followed in 2016. Together these records trace a sound built on piano-led songwriting, large melodic choruses and guitar-driven arrangements, with indie edges running through the pop.

The Orpheum Theatre, in downtown Los Angeles, hosts concerts and shows. The evening suits listeners who know "A Thousand Years" from the film soundtrack, as well as longtime followers who want to hear the songs that shaped the project over the past fifteen years.
