Classic French Macarons Class - Los Angeles

A hands-on macaron baking class in Los Angeles, held at Hyatt Place LAX / Century Blvd, where participants mix, pipe, fill and taste French almond sandwich cookies.

This workshop teaches participants to make French macarons, the almond-flour cookies joined by a filling. The session begins with the history of the Paris macaron, then follows the baking steps: mixing the batter, piping the shells, assembling the cookies with filling, and tasting the results. Guidance is given at each stage, so the work is done by the participants themselves.

All equipment and ingredients are provided, including aprons and whisks, so there is nothing to bring. The class is taught in English and is built for first-timers as well as people who already enjoy baking. Drinks can be bought from the partner bar on site, but outside drinks are not permitted.
