Los Angeles Graffiti Workshop

A hands-on class in Los Angeles where a local artist teaches Aerosol Art, from line work to outlines, using spray cans. Participants practice and finish a piece of their own.

The Los Angeles Graffiti Workshop is a hands-on class in Aerosol Art that examines the local graffiti style with a Los Angeles artist. Participants learn spray-can techniques, from line work to outlines, and the session opens with a look at the culture of graffiti. It takes place at a studio in Los Angeles where the artist meets the group.

A demonstration on handling the spray cans comes first, followed by time to practice and the creation of a finished piece. The lesson is meant to deepen appreciation of graffiti as an underground art form, and participants leave with a piece painted in the Los Angeles style.

The class suits anyone curious about graffiti who wants to try spray painting hands-on with a local artist.
