Jimmy Eat World + The Format: Sing It Back!

A pop, rock and indie bill at the Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood, pairing Jimmy Eat World with The Format and The Linda Lindas. The concert brings three acts from the American rock scene to one stage.

Jimmy Eat World is an American rock band formed in Mesa, Arizona, in 1993. Its albums Clarity (1999) and Bleed American (2001) shaped the group's melodic, guitar-driven sound, and Bleed American includes the single "The Middle." The Format is an American indie rock band formed in Peoria in 2002. Signed to Atlantic Records, the group released its first album, Interventions + Lullabies, in 2003. The Linda Lindas complete the lineup of acts on this bill.

The Hollywood Bowl, an outdoor amphitheater in Hollywood, hosts concerts and shows throughout the year. This evening suits listeners who follow melodic guitar rock and indie rock, and it places three bands with different roots and eras side by side. It is a fit for anyone interested in the lineage that runs from late-1990s alternative rock to the indie scene of the 2000s.
