Project Hail Mary: Live in Concert

A film-score concert built around Project Hail Mary, presented in Los Angeles at the Dolby Theatre. It brings the music of this story to a live audience rather than a band's set.

Project Hail Mary is a science fiction novel by Andy Weir, published in 2021. It follows a lone astronaut who wakes aboard a spacecraft with no memory of the mission and must piece together how to save Earth. The story was later adapted for film, and this program focuses on the music connected with that adaptation.

The concert falls under film concerts and scores, a format in which soundtrack music is performed live for an audience. The Dolby Theatre, located in Hollywood, is best known as the home of the Academy Awards ceremony, and it also hosts exhibitions and cultural events. The evening suits readers of the novel and viewers of the film who want to hear its score performed in a theater.
