Small Group: Ultimate Napa & Sonoma Wine Tour from San Francisco

A small group day trip from San Francisco through Napa and Sonoma, built around wine tastings at two selected wineries, a lunch stop and free time in historic Sonoma Square.

This day trip leaves San Francisco for the wine country north of the city, covering both Napa and Sonoma. The program keeps tastings deliberately limited: two carefully chosen wineries form the core of the day, and those who want more can add tastings at the rooms around Sonoma Square.

Along the way, the route includes a photo stop at the Golden Gate Bridge. Lunch is flexible. Guests can join a self-guided food tour that samples several cuisines, buy a bottle for a picnic, book a sit-down meal at a Michelin-starred restaurant, or add another wine tasting in Sonoma Square. The square's historic setting also leaves free time to explore on foot.

The day suits visitors passing through the Bay Area and anyone curious about California wine country who would rather taste a few wines thoroughly than sample many. It is a one-day activity from San Francisco, and the choice of lunch and extra tastings lets each guest shape the afternoon.
