Overview
Agent Orange is an American hardcore punk band formed in Orange County in 1979. Its debut album, Living in Darkness, was released in 1981 on Posh Boy Records, the Los Angeles label that issued many early Southern California punk records. That album is the band's best-known release and the natural starting point for anyone exploring its catalog.
The band's sound belongs to the hardcore punk tradition of the early 1980s, the faster and harder offshoot of 1970s punk. Its Orange County roots tie it to the regional scene that developed alongside Los Angeles bands of the same period.
Whisky A Go Go, on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, hosts concerts and shows. This concert suits listeners who follow hardcore punk from its early Orange County and Los Angeles roots.
