The Ace Frehley Band, West Bound (featuring Chas West), Rogues of Chaos, Crenshaw

A concert by The Ace Frehley Band at Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, with Chas West featured and Rogues of Chaos and Crenshaw also on the bill. The evening centers on rock music from a guitarist who helped found KISS.

Ace Frehley was the lead guitarist and a founding member of the rock band KISS, formed in New York in 1973. While still a member of that group, Frehley released a self-titled solo album in 1978, and its track "New York Groove" is among the songs most associated with that record. The Ace Frehley Band carries that solo catalogue and guitar-driven rock repertoire into its own shows, with the project's name and sound centered on Frehley.

The bill also features Chas West, with Rogues of Chaos and Crenshaw appearing alongside. Each act is presented under its own name, so the evening moves across several rock and indie projects rather than a single group.

Whisky A Go Go is a club on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood that hosts concerts and shows. The night suits listeners of rock and indie music who follow Frehley's work, and anyone interested in the guitar-led sound of the original KISS lineage.
