Daniil Trifonov

Pianist Daniil Trifonov gives a recital at the Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall in New York, a classical program on the piano.

Daniil Trifonov is a Russian classical pianist, born in 1991 in Nizhny Novgorod. He is associated with the Deutsche Grammophon label, for which he recorded his first album in 2011, devoted to works by Chopin and Tchaikovsky. That debut recording sets the composers at the core of his catalog, and Chopin and Tchaikovsky remain central names in the piano repertoire he is known to perform.

This evening takes place on the piano, with Trifonov as the sole performer named here, in a recital format. The program is built around the solo piano works that have shaped his career, so listeners can expect the concentrated sound of one instrument and one pianist throughout the evening.

The Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage is the hall at Carnegie Hall in New York that hosts concerts and shows, and it suits listeners who follow classical piano and want to hear a pianist of this stature in a major New York venue.
