Ian Sweet

A concert by Ian Sweet, a New York-based songwriter, presented with KCRW at Sid The Cat Auditorium in Los Angeles, with Luella and Kaycie Satterfield on the bill.

Ian Sweet is a New York-based songwriter whose debut album, Shapeshifter, came out in 2016. Each later record has taken a different direction: Crush Crusher (2018) leans toward rock, Show Me How You Disappear (2021) moves into more emotional territory, and SUCKER (2023) brings a pop-oriented sound.

Critics at The FADER, KEXP, The New York Times, NPR Music, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone and Stereogum have written about the project's work. Ian Sweet is now preparing a new chapter in a discography that spans more than ten years.

The show is presented by Sid The Cat and KCRW, with Luella and Kaycie Satterfield joining the bill. Sid The Cat Auditorium hosts concerts and shows in Los Angeles.
