Jim Morrison celebration concert featuring Wild Child

A concert in West Hollywood celebrating the music of Jim Morrison, lead singer of the Doors, with the pop, rock and indie band Wild Child on the bill at Whisky A Go Go.

This concert honors Jim Morrison, the lead singer and lyricist of the Los Angeles rock band the Doors, whose recordings from the 1960s include the album The Doors and the single Light My Fire. Morrison does not perform at this event. The evening is a celebration of his music, and the stage belongs to the artists on the bill, including Wild Child, a pop, rock and indie act.

Whisky A Go Go is a club on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood that hosts concerts and shows. The Doors played there during the mid-1960s, which connects the room to the band whose music this evening revisits.

The night suits listeners who follow the Doors and the rock of their era, as well as fans of Wild Child's indie and pop-rock sound who want to hear it in a club setting.
