Lee Ritenour - Album Release

A jazz concert by guitarist Lee Ritenour at Blue Note Los Angeles, marking the release of a new album. Ritenour is a long-established name in jazz guitar and contemporary jazz.

Lee Ritenour is a guitarist associated with jazz fusion and smooth jazz, known to many listeners by the nickname Captain Fingers. In the early 1990s, Ritenour co-founded the group Fourplay with Bob James, Nathan East and Harvey Mason, one of the most widely heard contemporary jazz ensembles of that period. Ritenour also worked with the GRP Records label, alongside Dave Grusin, during the years that label shaped the sound of American jazz fusion.

This evening presents the release of a new album by Ritenour, so it suits listeners who follow the guitarist's recent work as well as those who know the Fourplay catalogue. The concert is part of the Blue Note Los Angeles schedule, a room that hosts jazz concerts and shows in Los Angeles.
