Neurosis, an American band from Oakland, playing a concert at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. The group's heavy sound draws on several underground metal and punk traditions.

Neurosis is an American band from Oakland, formed in 1985. Its music brings together sludge metal, punk hardcore and post-metal in a single heavy sound. Scott Kelly and Steve Von Till are among the band's longtime members.

The group's catalog includes the albums Souls at Zero (1992), Enemy of the Sun (1993) and Through Silver in Blood (1996), which show the band's move from hardcore roots toward slower, more expansive heavy music. Their work has shaped many bands that followed the same path between metal and punk.

This concert takes place at The Wiltern, a Los Angeles venue that hosts concerts and shows. The evening suits listeners interested in heavy, long-form rock and metal who follow the band's catalog.
