Paul Collins Beat & Exploding Hearts

A Los Angeles concert bringing together power pop, rock and indie acts, with Paul Collins and The Exploding Hearts as the headliners named in the title. It takes place at Zebulon.

Paul Collins Beat & Exploding Hearts is a pop, rock and indie bill. Paul Collins co-founded The Nerves, a Los Angeles power pop trio formed in 1974 with Jack Lee and Peter Case, and later led Paul Collins'Beat. The Exploding Hearts are a punk band from Portland, Oregon, active in the early 2000s, whose album Guitar Romantic came out in 2004.

Julez and the Rollerz and Jordan Jones complete the lineup for this evening, placing the program across several acts with different approaches to guitar-driven songwriting.

Zebulon hosts concerts and shows in Los Angeles. The evening suits listeners who follow power pop, punk-leaning rock and indie, and who want to hear artists from the Los Angeles and Pacific Northwest scenes on one bill.
