PRIMUS - Here Come The Grizz - 12/30

Primus, the rock band led by Les Claypool and Larry LaLonde, performs a run of shows titled Here Come The Grizz at the Fox Theater in Oakland. The description covers the act and the venue.

Primus is an American rock band formed in El Sobrante, California, in 1984. Bassist and vocalist Les Claypool and guitarist Larry LaLonde are its core members, and the group's funk-inflected bass lines and unusual song structures set it apart in alternative rock. Its 1991 album Sailing the Seas of Cheese and the song "Jerry Was a Race Car Driver" are among its best-known works.

The Here Come The Grizz shows take place over several dates at the Fox Theater in Oakland, a venue that hosts concerts and shows in the city.

The shows suit listeners who follow Primus's catalog from the early 1990s onward, as well as those interested in Bay Area rock bands with a funk-based sound.
