Wild Horses

Wild Horses is an act performing blues, country and folk, presented in concert at Space in Evanston, a city just north of Chicago.

Wild Horses performs music in blues, country and folk, three styles that share roots in American song and rely on direct lyrics and strong melodies. Blues grew out of African American communities in the Deep South in the late 1800s, country took shape in the 1920s from rural Southern and Appalachian string music, and folk draws on traditional songs passed down by ear.

Listeners who follow roots music across those traditions form the natural audience for this concert. The show takes place at Space, which hosts concerts and shows in Evanston, a city directly north of Chicago on the shore of Lake Michigan.
