Willi Carlisle

Willi Carlisle, a folksinger, performs on The Universal Bubba Tour with Amelia Day on the bill, at Sid The Cat Auditorium in Los Angeles. Blues, country and folk shape the music.

Willi Carlisle is a folksinger whose music blends traditionally rooted folk with a cast of oddball characters, mixing absurdity, spectacle and philosophy. Winged Victory is the fourth studio album, following Peculiar, Missouri from 2022 and Critterland from 2024. Across these records, the project starts from the idea that the heart is a big tent with room for everybody.

On Winged Victory, the characters gathered in the earlier albums speak for themselves, free of social expectations. Carlisle's core convictions are that love outweighs hate and that no one is expendable, and the songs address them in more direct and provocative ways. Blues, country and folk shape the music.

The concert is part of The Universal Bubba Tour, with Amelia Day also on the bill. Sid The Cat Auditorium hosts concerts and shows in Los Angeles.
