Willy Porter & the Humans in a Room Quartet

A pop, rock and indie concert by Willy Porter and the Humans in a Room Quartet, presented at Space in Evanston, a suburb just north of Chicago.

Willy Porter is a singer-songwriter and guitarist whose work sits in pop, rock and indie. This concert pairs the artist with the Humans in a Room Quartet, and the evening is presented under the joint name of Willy Porter and the quartet. Both names appear together on the bill, so the show is a collaboration between the artist and the group rather than a single-performer recital.

The evening is aimed at listeners who follow songwriter-led pop, rock and indie, and at anyone interested in how a songwriter's material is shaped by a group setting. The Humans in a Room Quartet brings a band-based identity to the program, while the artist's name leads the billing.

Space hosts concerts and shows in Evanston, and this booking places the performance at that venue. Its programming covers live music and theater, so the evening fits within a regular schedule of concerts and shows in the suburb.
