Composer Night: Marcel Bonfim

A jazz evening titled Composer Night, featuring Marcel Bonfim, at The CheckOut, a Chicago venue for concerts and shows.

Composer Night: Marcel Bonfim is a jazz concert featuring Marcel Bonfim, the artist named in the title. The Composer Night format places the spotlight on one musician's writing, which makes the evening a focused look at a single creative voice.

The CheckOut hosts concerts and shows in Chicago, and this jazz program is staged there. Fans of jazz composition and listeners curious about how a single composer's material unfolds on stage will find the evening's focus clear from its title.

Because the artist's name appears directly in the title, the subject of the evening is clear: a jazz program organized around Marcel Bonfim and the evening's composer-centered format.
