ACM Presents Score

A film concert presented under the ACM Presents banner, featuring Score performing music written for the screen at The CheckOut in Chicago.

ACM Presents Score is a film concert in the film concerts and scores genre, giving music written for the screen its own stage. The performing act is Score, and the program is built on film scores rather than a traditional concert repertoire. Concerts of this kind let the listener hear the music separated from the picture it was written for.

The CheckOut, the venue, hosts concerts and shows in Chicago, and this evening falls within its film-music programming. The night suits anyone who follows film scores and wants to hear them performed in person, whether they know the films well or not.
