Dweezil Zappa DZ20: Like Father, Like Son

Dweezil Zappa presents DZ20: Like Father, Like Son at House of Blues Las Vegas, a rock concert by a guitarist working in rock and psychedelic rock. The act's debut dates to 1986.

Dweezil Zappa is an American rock and psychedelic rock guitarist, born in 1969 in Los Angeles. Their debut came in 1986, the same year the release Havin'a Bad Day appeared on Zappa Records. The guitar is the central instrument of this musical identity, and the project sits within the rock tradition, with psychedelic rock as its second reference point.

The concert is billed as DZ20: Like Father, Like Son, the title under which this Las Vegas date is presented. The music is classed as pop, rock and indie, so the evening covers a broader range than the guitarist's psychedelic roots alone. The title points to a family connection in the program, and it frames the performance around that idea.

The show takes place at House of Blues Las Vegas, a venue that hosts concerts and shows in Las Vegas. The night suits listeners who follow rock guitar and want to hear a guitarist's work from its earlier years onward, and who are interested in how the psychedelic rock tradition continues in a live setting.
