Solo Piano Spotlight: Greg Hartmann

A classical evening titled Solo Piano Spotlight, featuring Greg Hartmann at the piano, presented at The CheckOut in Chicago. It is a single-performer program of classical piano music.

Solo Piano Spotlight: Greg Hartmann is a classical evening built around a single pianist. Greg Hartmann performs alone at the piano, so the evening rests entirely on solo piano playing from start to finish.

Classical concerts of this kind suit listeners who want to hear piano repertoire in a focused recital format. The CheckOut is a Chicago venue that hosts concerts and shows, and this program brings classical piano to its stage.

Because no other performers share the stage, attention stays on the pianist's touch, phrasing and choice of repertoire, which is what a solo program is built to show on this evening.
