SANEL REDŽIĆ, Classical Guitar

A classical guitar concert by Sanel Redžić at The CheckOut, a Chicago venue for concerts and shows, with the music centered on the classical guitar repertoire.

Sanel Redžić performs as a classical guitarist, and this evening is in the classical genre, so the music centers on the classical guitar repertoire. Classical guitar is played with fingerstyle technique on a nylon-string instrument, drawing on scores written for the instrument.

The CheckOut is a Chicago venue that hosts concerts and shows, so this classical guitar evening joins its live programming. It suits listeners who want to hear the classical guitar in a live performance by a single named artist.

Sanel Redžić is the only artist credited on this evening, so the program centers on one performer's playing. The genre rewards close listening, since the instrument's dynamics come from the player's touch alone.
