Outlander in Concert

A film concert presenting the music of the Outlander television series, staged at The Auditorium Chicago. The series' score was composed by Bear McCreary.

Outlander in Concert is a film concert built on the music of Outlander, the television series adapted from Diana Gabaldon's novels, which premiered on Starz in 2014. The score was composed by Bear McCreary, and his music for the series is the center of this program.

The series follows Claire Randall, a World War II nurse who travels from 1945 to eighteenth-century Scotland, where she becomes entangled with the Highland clans. The story's romance, conflict and historical setting shape the mood of the music that audiences will hear in this concert.

The Auditorium Chicago is located in the Auditorium Building on Michigan Avenue, designed by Adler and Sullivan and completed in 1889. The venue hosts concerts and shows, and this program suits fans of the series as well as listeners interested in film and television scores.
