Handmade Dumpling Party - Los Angeles

A hands-on dumpling-making class at Penny Oven on Colorado Boulevard in Los Angeles, where participants prepare fillings and fold dumplings into several shapes under an expert chef's guidance.

In this hands-on class, participants learn to prepare dumpling fillings, from meat-based to vegetable ones, and to fold the wrappers into several shapes. An expert chef guides the group through each step, so the session centers on making the dumplings by hand.

No prior experience is needed: the class is designed for all skill levels, from first-time cooks to those who already work with dough. Participants shape the dumplings themselves and then get to eat what they have made. Guests are invited to bring their own beer, wine or champagne.

The class suits couples looking for a date night, friends who want to spend an afternoon or evening cooking together, and anyone curious about dumpling making. It takes place at Penny Oven on Colorado Boulevard.
