Spanish Paella en Los Angeles

A hands-on paella class at Penny Oven on Colorado Boulevard in Los Angeles, where participants cook an authentic Paella Valenciana with an expert chef and then eat it together.

This workshop is a cooking class built around paella, the rice dish associated with Valencia in Spain. Working alongside an expert chef, participants prepare a Paella Valenciana from start to finish, using saffron, smoked chorizo, fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables. The session also covers how to build the flavor of the dish and where to find fresh, seasonal ingredients.

All equipment and ingredients are provided. The class is open to every experience level and runs for two hours. Once the paella is ready, participants sit down to enjoy it, and guests may bring their own beer or wine to have with the meal.
